11 Daily Life Reminders To Live By

To achieve peace and success

1.Nurture your self-care. I promise you no one else cares more about your self-care but you! You are the key to your own happiness and peace. Make time for it. Figure out what fills you with joy. Schedule it into your weekly planner. Take action on it.

2.YOU are in control of your life. You do not have to stay in any situation. You always have a choice. If you don’t know what to do or where to begin. Make a plan. Write out all of your ideas, even if it doesn’t make sense. You have to figure out where you want to be. What brings you joy. Then execute how you can get there. Planning really is everything. Don’t expect your momma to do it. Social Media has tons of outlets to help you find your path. With mentors, themed based groups, and life coaches.

3.Be patient with yourself. Masterpieces aren’t created in a day.

4.You cannot change the past. You can only work towards a better future. By not repeating the same mistakes and learning from past lessons.

5.Any goal/vision without action is just a “dream“. I’ve been “dreaming” longer than I’d like to admit. I became so lost in my dreams that I forgot that I had to actually put in the work to reach these goals. I was planning with no action. That’s real shit. But any step towards a goal is a step closer than you were yesterday. You have to put in some action to get where you want in life. Baby steps count.

6.We all have the same 24 hours. So use your time wisely. If you have to multitask do it (I do it every day). Just don’t hate on the next person because of what they have accomplished. They had the same amount of time in the day as you. All it takes is a little adjusting and dedication. I had to start waking up earlier to accomplish what I needed to.

Sacrificing my sleep means a lot!

7.Plan out each month at the end of the following month. If you live on a budget, like me. This will help your financial well-being, look at me sounding like an FA. If you have any goals in mind. This will help hold you accountable. There’s nothing worse than looking at your calendar realizing you did not commit to anything you said you would. Agh felt that in my gut.

8.Not everyone will be ready to grow with you. It’s not your responsibility to bring them along either. Always remember, we all have different paths in life. It’s OK if you are ready to grow when others aren’t. Move at your own pace, not everyone is going to move with you.

9.Stay updated on world news. Don’t be one of those, the news is so negative. Choosing not to be aware of the world around you is pure ignorance. There‘s so much happening in the world today, some that directly affects you. So download a news app. Or watch the morning news while you’re getting ready for work/school. You can always just visit a news channel site also. Being informed helps you protect your loved ones. It also keeps you out of danger.

World news is a good conversation starter, ladies.

10.Take every situation as a lesson or a blessing. Having this state of mind will bring you peace in most situations. We’re all learning lessons everyday. Not every bad situation has to stay in a bad situation. It all depends on how you look at it.

11.Stop scrolling on social media! Go do something. Seriously, our generation is about to have serious neck and back problems from staring at our phones. Plus scrolling takes up so much time, 30 minutes seem to fly by while I’m sitting on my damn phone. Put it down!

Now stay on top of your sh*t!
