All You Need To Know About Sugar Waxing and Vajacials

Vajacial Review of The Glow House

Alright ladies if there’s one thing about me; I take care of my precious young “V”. Women you know exactly what “V” I’m talking about. So, I decided to spoil my “V”, get your mind out of the gutter, this isn’t that kind of post. I pampered my vagina with a vajacial.

A vajacial is a Brazilian wax with a mask. The mask treats ingrown hairs, removes dead skin cells, smooths bumps around the bikini line, prevents acne, helps with hyper-pigmentation, all to maintain healthy and hydrated skin in the vaginal area. I came across vajacials from the Black-owned businesses in New Jersey Facebook page. Since I’m dedicated to supporting Black-owned in anyway I can. I decided to find a Black waxer, I mean who else better to wax me?

When I came across Asata (@theglowroom609 on Instagram) what really caught my attention was her sugar waxing method and vajacial services. I never heard of anything like this before. Being that my skin is hypersensitive – I’m always looking for natural ways for treating myself. I was intrigued and as I said before, I wanted to pamper my young V.

I booked the vajacial which came with a Brazilian wax, extractions, and a mask. Booking with Asata was easy and convenient. Which is rare in the Black community for bookings.

Let me just get into how life-changing my experience was with my first Black waxer!

Asata uses sugaring wax which is an all-natural paste made of lemon juice, water, and sugar. Using her hands (with gloves on), Asata spreads the sugar wax over your vagina section by section. The only con about sugar waxing is that it pulls on your hair when the wax is being applied. It feels like a thick paste that pulls on your hairs. The longer your hair is, the more painful it will be. Once the paste is ready, Asata just pulled it off, not using any strips. The paste did hurt, but it wasn’t as bad as the stinging pain that European Wax Center leaves you with.

I appreciated Asata’s thoroughness throughout my entire wax. She left no hair behind, and she wasn’t afraid to get into the corners and hard to reach places.

Next, was the vagina steaming and extracting. That was my first time having a vagina steam and extraction at the same time. All I have to say is, I want another one.

After being waxed, steam should be mandatory at all waxing places. After extracting my unpretty ingrown hairs. Asata put a mask on me for about 10-15 minutes.

Talk about a cooling sensation.

My entire experience was rejuvenating. Yep, I said a vagina wax was rejuvenating. Asata was very easy to talk to and knowledgeable on dermatology. She takes her time with you, making sure that you’re OK throughout the process.

No hair left behind, no ingrown hairs, less pain, and a smoother pusey. Asata gained a long time client in me.

I’m happy my curiosity led me to vajacial masks and sugar waxing. For $80 you could pamper your young “V” the way it deserves a few times out of the year.

Asata can be found on Instagram as @theglowroom609. She is based out of Trenton and specializes in different services catered to the body. Some are facials, laser lipo, and back facials. I plan on adding more services to my next visit.

Remember when you treat your pusey good, it will treat you even better
