What In The World Are Chakras?

Chakra healing, the energy around us ..

If you ever wondered what Chakras are, don’t worry I got you. I’ve been practicing Chakra healing since 2019. It helped heal me from a break up, become more aware of insecurities, and helped me identify triggers. Honestly, it made me emotional more than anything else. Chakra healing forces you to face what you’ve been trying to block out. We all unconsciously bury thoughts we don’t want to deal with deep in our mind. Not realizing that the past always creeps back up on you…

Chakra balancing forces you to be real with yourself.

I had to face the truth that I needed to let go of past hurt, past mistakes, and let go of the young version of myself. In order to prepare for the new version that was developing.

I learned that from my root chakra.

Everyone has 7 Chakras. Chakras are defined as the spinning energies that live within us, it’s your spirit energy. It’s the connection to our emotions and hidden feelings. When you store feelings where do you think they go? The answer is no where, they actually store in your Chakras. Which causes blockage. Your Chakras could be blocked for many reasons, trauma, guilt, heart break, or unsolved emotions. When learning about your chakras it’s important to go in order. If you don’t, you’ll end up feeling unbalanced and confused.

Trust me, I started working on my throat Chakra, first. Thinking I could speed up the healing process. I wanted to clear my speech and communication energy so that I could translate my messages on lifeofblackdaria more clearly. This is dangerous. When you unblock Chakras out of order, you’ll feel out of order. I had so much to say, but still felt like my messages aren’t being received correctly. The imbalance was messing up my energies instead healing them. I noticed the unbalance when I would have conversations with someone, and kept getting stuck on sentences where I was expressing myself, like girl, do you not know how to speak right now? I also noticed it in my writing, in the beginning I was jumping from one topic to another. I had so much to say, and wasn’t sure how to say it.

Let me get into what the chakras are and how to unleash them.

Always start with the Root Chakra, I am. The root Chakra is the color red and is located at the start of our spine. It’s found where your anus and spine connect. It’s your foundation -your stability. It’s your basic needs for survival such as food, water, and shelter. As well as your emotional needs such as letting go of fear and feeling safe.

When it’s blocked fears, anxiety, and nightmares are awakened. To release it, you have to face your fears and let go. This can be done practicing meditation and affirmations.

Next is the Sacral Chakra, I feel. The Sacral chakra is orange and is located above the pelvic bone and below the navel. The Sacral Chakra is responsible for your creativity and sexuality. It’s usually easier to tell if this Chakra is blocked. Clearly mine isn’t creative wise, but sexual wise it was for me. I used to hold orgasms in, not realizing I’m holding them in. My sacral was blocked because I didn’t feel secure with my partner. Remember, everything is connected. When the Sacral chakra is blocked you feel uninspired, fear change, inability for arousal, and depressed.

To unblock this chakra you have to self-reflect through meditation and journaling. You have to figure out what it is that you want out of life. You have to explore your body. Arouse yourself. Fight depression.

The third chakra is called the Solar Plexus, I can. The Solar Plexus is yellow and located in your stomach. It controls your self-esteem, will power and confidence. Anything stomach related is connected to the solar plexus. When blocked you suffer from low self-esteem, indecisive, and may have anger/control issues, bad eating habits.

To unblock this Chakra you have to learn to accept and love yourself. When you love yourself you trust yourself.

The Heart Chakra, I feel. Is located in your heart, genius. It’s associated with the color green. It balances love and compassion for others. When it’s blocked you feel hate, anger, resentment, jealousy, self- sabotage and betrayal from others.

To unblock this Chakra you have to learn gratitude and let go of anything that doesn’t deserve you.

The Throat Chakra, I speak. Is located in your throat and is associated with the color purple. It helps you communicate with others. Helps you articulate your words in a way that other people can understand you.

When it’s blocked, you have trouble speaking your truth. You find it hard to pay attention, trusting your inner voice, recalling important facts, or learning new skills. Physically, this blockage can manifest itself as a sore throat, thyroid issues, neck and shoulder stiffness, anxiety, depression or tension headaches.

To unblock you must read and communicate more. Social gatherings help aid this chakra.

The Third eye, I see. Is associated with the color blue. It’s located in between your eyebrows. It’s your second sense, your intuition. It balances the spirit realm and reality. When controlled, you’re able to connect to both worlds simultaneously. It helps you see things clearly. This is my favorite chakra.

To unblock practice healthy eating, journaling, and meditation. Writing is a good remedy for this chakra, write out how you feel.

Last we have the Crown Chakra, I have. It’s associated with the color purple and is the highest elevation you can feel. It’s located on the top of your head, towards the middle. It’s the soft spot we are all born with. You know how they say babies have the key to life. Well yeah, we are born with the keys to life, but our chakras aren’t connected to express it at that age.

When released the crown chakra connects you to your higher self and the Divine one. It’s said that the Crown can only be released when all 6 Chakras are unblocked. It’s pure intellect and no judgement, kinda like Gandhi. It’s letting go of everything you know to become your higher self, your spirit.

When blocked, you may have feelings of isolation or emotional distress—basically feeling disconnected from everyone and everything.

In order to let go of these blockages you have to connect to those around you. You have to realize that you are not alone.

Chakra healing is an ancient practice that’s been healing people for hundreds of years. It takes time and practice to unblock Chakras. Once you start releasing one, you have to keep going, or you will disrupt your body and cause more blockages.

Take the time to learn who you are and why you are that way. No one is perfect, but you can always fix what’s broken.
