7 Signs You’re Bossing Up

It’s Time To Level Up

Growth is optional. But girl, when you decide to live. You’ll find yourself bossing up ways that seem small to others but huge to you.

Bossing up is that new chapter in your life where you decide to level up from the person you once were before. It’s when you decide to no longer put up with other people’s b.s and focus on your future and your health. It’s when you prioritize and plan out each week so that you stay on top of your stuff. It’s when love yourself a little more.

For me bossing up was sticking to my non-negotiable list. I told ya’ll I’m not putting up with no bullsh*t 2020. I have goals and dreams that I want accomplished so I had to boss up in order to achieve them.

Bossing up is choosing you over and over again. It’s not to make anyone jealous or for any revenge. Bossing up is for your confidence. You can start big or small. It’s up to you and when you’re ready.

Here are some of the signs that let you know if you are truly Bossing Up:

Finding forgiveness: I decided I no longer wanted to be that bitter bitch. I wanted to live in peace. Holding grudges just stores negative feelings inside of you. You might not feel it every day but that one trigger could set you off. No matter how positive you try to be. You cannot fully fulfill positivity having hate in your heart.

“So I forgave all you. Ex friends, lovers, and myself.”

That was my first step towards bossing up. Can’t be a hater.

Picking battles: Realizing you don’t have to win every fight. Or that every fight does not need your energy. Choosing to walk away rather than sit and argue.

Putting action to plans: Putting ideas into motion shows you mean business. Nothing changes unless you change it.

Deciding to live in your truth: People will gossip. You might even have some haters. But remember, “this is your life, you just allow people to experience it”. So fight hard to love who you are and own what you have been through.

Breaking old habits: It can be big or small. Any bad habit broken to create a healthy habit is bossing up on yourself. Show yourself whose boss. Don’t allow comfort to dictate your life.

Overcoming a challenge: When you reach a goal or overcome a fear. That’s a challenge you bossed up in. You showed up and showed out. Be proud of yourself.

Focusing on yourself: When you don’t give a f*ck about what anyone else is doing and mind your business. When you’re working on yourself with clear thought out plans and goals. You’re truly bossing up.

Change is inevitable so are you going to boss up when changes come or stay the same?
